Residential Stays

Penhurst Retreat Centre has a heart for mission work both overseas and in the UK. If you are involved in mission, we recognise that meeting the cost of a retreat may be difficult for you. If your retreat is not being funded by your mission agency or sending church, please Contact the wardens.

A 10% discount is offered for those working with member agencies of Global Connections.

Residential retreats:

For individuals and small groups up to a maximum of 12

Shared occupancy:

£42 per person, per night FULL BOARD for 3 or more weeknights [Sun to Thur]
£47 per person, per night FULL BOARD [Fri/Sat or for 2 weeknights or less]

Single occupancy:

£50 per person, per night, for 3 or more weeknights FULL BOARD [Sun to Thur]
£55 per person, per night FULL BOARD [Fri/Sat or for 2 weeknights or less]

Prices apply from 1st January 2010
Penhurst Retreat Centre is a catered facility. In special circumstances, i.e. for people fasting or eating out, a reduction of £8 per day is granted. There is no self-catering provision for individual guests.

Families with children:

Please contact the wardens for conditions, prices and availability.

Time of arrival/departure

For Residential retreats:

If possible please aim to arrive between 3-5pm and depart after lunch on final day. Please let us know if you would like to arrive at a different time as we do not live on site.

Booking

To make a booking either contact the wardens or use the booking request form. Once the booking has been agreed, a deposit will need to be paid within two weeks in order to secure it and the balance paid no later than seven days before the date of arrival.We are unable to accept card payments at present.

Cancellation Policy

If a booking is cancelled 8 days or more before the date of arrival no further charge will be made.
Guests who cancel between 7 days and 48 hours of the date of arrival will be charged 50% of the total cost of the booking.
Guests who cancel 48 hours or less before the date of arrival, or who do not turn up, will be charged the full amount.
