Penhurst Retreat Centre is known for it`s warm welcome to everyone, including but not exclusively mission partners, cross-cultural workers and full-time Christian workers from the UK and overseas. The beauty, peace and comfort of its situation is loved by many locals and guests alike.

Staff Team
Our team members need to have a sense of calling to be here – a sense that this is where God wants you at this time.
All members of the Penhurst team are expected to share in aspects of the day to day work of Penhurst and also play an active part in the spiritual life of the retreat centre. You will be expected to participate in times of prayer and worship with the staff and volunteer team, to pray for the ministry of the centre, its team and mission.
Applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK. We are not able to provide visa sponsorship.
We are not currently recruiting for any paid positions, but please do check back in the future.

Volunteers
Have you been reassessing life? Maybe you have a bit of time available? Maybe you would like to do some volunteering? If so, we may have just the place for you!
We are always on the lookout for volunteers and are currently specifically seeking more volunteers to help prepare, serve and clear up meals for our guests; clean our public rooms, maintain flowerbeds in the garden and also for more specialist areas, such as fundraising.
If you live too far away to come as a day volunteer, you can still be an advocate for the retreat centre. You can ensure that we are always well advertised in your church and amongst your friends/colleagues. You can link to us via Facebook or Twitter so that your friends hear about us and can link to us through you. You can organise a fundraising event for us in your area... the list is endless. If you have anything that you are willing to offer that will enhance the centre we would love to hear from you.
