Closed for national lockdown

This message was added on 2020-11-01

In line with the UK Government`s announcement of another national lockdown due to the covid-19 pandemic, we will sadly be closed again to guests from Thursday 5 November until (at least) Friday 4 December.

Existing Bookings and Retreats

If you have an existing booking with us, please bear with us as we work through the diary - we will be in touch.

If you really need to contact us, please bear in mind that our phone will not be manned as normal - so please email wherever possible.

As a charity, there are obviously significant and ongoing financial implications during this season.  We recognise that many people will be facing their own financial challenges, but if you would like to make a donation, large or small, one-off or regular, please let us know or go to our donations webpage.

We are praying for all our guests during this time, especially those who have had bookings cancelled during recent months or this period.  May you encounter the Lord in surprising ways during this time.

Please also pray for our trustees and staff as we work through the implications of this decision and how to move forward over the coming months.

There will undoubtedly be challenges ahead, but let us keep our eyes on the Lord for he is Jehovah Shalom, Rapha and Jireh – our Peace, our Healer and our Provider.

Jesus said: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27)

The apostle Paul wrote: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Phil 4:6-7)”
