Covid alert Tier 3 - Centre closed

This message was added on 2020-12-17

Following the UK Government`s review of covid alert levels, Penhurst will be in the `very high` level (tier 3) from 18 December 2020 and must therefore be closed.

We are praying, planning and looking forward to when we are able to re-open and welcome guests again.  However, given the experience of other parts of the country and the likelihood of covid cases remaining high following the Christmas season, it is unknown when this will be.  We have therefore sadly decided that Penhurst will remain closed until at least the end of January 2021.

Updates will be posted on our website and Facebook page as the situation progresses.

In the meantime, we invite you to `like` our Facebook page, where we are posting daily updates including prayers, reflections, pictures and news.

We contiune to pray for all our guests and friends during this time, especially those who have had bookings cancelled during recent months or this period.

Please also pray for our trustees, staff and volunteers during this ongoing uncertainty.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Phil 4:6-7)

There are obviously significant and ongoing financial implications during this season.  We recognise that many people will be facing their own financial challenges, but if you would like to make a donation, large or small, one-off or regular, please let us know or go to our donations webpage.
