Jonah - The Depth of God`s Grace

`Jonah and the Whale` could easily be viewed as a fairy tale or a fantasy - something that sits outside the main thrust of the Old Testament. But of course, it isn`t! It speaks of a sovereign God, who is rich in mercy, whose compassionate love for the lost then, remains the same today. Tell me more... Storytelling as spiritual...

Leader: Steve Gurr

In our being alongside others we often give space for people`s personal stories to be told and heard. The act of telling these stories, and our careful attention to them, is often the context for a person`s `knocking on the door` of the deeper questions of meaning and purpose, spirituality and faith. How might attentive listening and sensitive curiosity unlock these doors? How can we work in a more spiritually informed way to enable those we accompany to discover truth around meaning and purpose?
