This retreat is open to all but will be especially relevant to those in leadership, missionaries on furlough and those processing mid-life transition issues. Led by Liz Cox and Val Smith from Transformational Leadership Centre and Rick Grose.

The retreat aims to provide a safe place for reflection and encounter with God and ourselves.

We’ll be exploring how it is possible to live and lead from a place of abiding in Christ – a place where Christ lives his life through us, rather than us trying to live for Christ. We’ll spend time discovering the roots of how we have learnt to live out of our own strength and resources; the common struggles we encounter within ourselves and what may be their source. We look at living from a new centre of “Christ in us, the hope of glory”. As themes, we’ll reflect on Psalm 23: Building a relationship; Learning to rest; Learning to Trust; and Learning to live (taken from Tony Horfall’s book “Song of the Shepherd”)

“.. in order that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but one that comes through faith in Christ” Phil 3:9
