This is a gentle retreat for people of all ages (over 18) who have suffered loss through bereavement. It is faith-based from a Christian perspective. The goal is finding courage and hope as we continue our life’s journey. The retreat is suitable for widows and widowers, bereaved parents and siblings, those who have lost parents or close family members, or those who have suffered multiple losses. Come and join with others who have also experienced life-changing loss.

Grief following bereavement can feel overwhelming, particularly if we have lost a partner or child, or if our loved one’s passing was sudden or traumatic, or if we have suffered multiple losses. The aim of this supported retreat is to better equip us to deal with our life-changing loss, with the goal of finding courage and hope as we continue our life’s journey.

During our time together, we will look at some of the spiritual, emotional and practical challenges of our grief, and then explore how to cope with our life as it is now, as well as finding a way forward in the changed circumstances of our lives.

There is a varied programme including led sessions, time for quiet reflection, prayer, discussions, reading materials, and opportunity for individual prayer with retreat leaders. All activities are option.

If you wish to stay longer, or start your stay earlier, please contact us about availability.
