Evan Winter
Originally from N Ireland I worked as a secondary school teacher for 3 years. My wife and I joined the staff of Agap and were assigned to Malawi to work as teachers. After 3 years I was asked to take responsibility for the administration of the ministry. After another 2.5 years we moved to S Africa where we were engaged in evangelism and discipleship training for churches in Johannesburg. When our eldest child was approaching secondary school age we returned to the UK and were assigned to Agap `s head office in Birmingham. For the next 12 years I had a variety of roles in management and outreach to the business community in the centre of Birmingham. In 2007 I joined the staff of Global Connections where I was the Director of Operations until my retirement at the end of 2018. Wanting to use my experience and training I am involved with a number of missions (mainly helping with governance and processes).
