Dan Freeman
Daniel is a fellow pilgrim who loves to encourage people with their art and their spirituality. He is a member of his local Baptist church with his wife Val.
As Daniel Thomas Freeman he has worked as an experimental musician, composer and filmmaker since the late 1980s and he has recently become a post graduate researcher in Sound Arts at the University of the Arts London.
Daniel’s own work since 2014 has included: composing the scores for several films; creating the heavy ambient music, poetry and photography of ’The Infinite and the Unknowable’; writing, directing and scoring the micro-budget feature film ’The Silence After Life’ and the experimental short ’The Day After’; creating and running the ’Reigniting your Creative Spark’ workshop to help artists of any description move past writer’s block; and, since late 2024, creating and running the Strange Weather Documents: Rest’ series of sound-based meditations for both Christian and secular audiences.
He was also a member of Rameses III, the ambient / drone music group who had numerous releases between 2000-2010 on record labels such as Type and Important.
