Michael Eijgenraam

Michael Eijgenraam came to the UK in 1989 for a sixth month discipleship course and left it seven years later, having studied theology (LST) and having worked as an RE teacher at a comprehensive school in Sittingbourne, Kent.

Back in the Netherlands, he worked in business administration for a few years, but always found ways to continue to teach the Bible. The last 20 years he has been lecturing in Biblical studies at Cornerstone College, an English speaking mission training college in the south of the Netherlands. Michael’s passion: encouraging others to discover, explore and dive into the texts of the Bible: young, old and everyone in between. His house is full of props that he and his wife Belinda use in telling Bible stories to children in schools and both Protestant as well as Catholic churches. They do this using the method of Walk Through the Bible.

When they are not ’doing Bible’, Michael & Belinda spend time with their three children (all studying at universities nearby), walking their dog, swimming and camping. With the children being older now, they enjoy the opportunity for Michael to teach courses also outside of the Netherlands.
